In Memory

Jack R. Oldham

Sept 7, 1925 - Oct 25, 1985 Dad had an enthusiam for any classical and sacred music. He always looked forward to singing in the Messiah each year, and encouraged all of his children to join him. He was a good father and a faithful husband with a wonderful sense of humor (esp. liked practical jokes) and steadfast devotion to family and country. His lifelong occupation and enjoyment revolved around trains, first with his service with the Railroad Battalion in WWII, then as Engineer for Penn Central and Conrail until his death in 1985. His last Christmas gift to me was a copy of the Lake County Chorus's first taping of the Messiah in 1984. It was the last year he sang with the Chorus.
