Carol I. Nagle born on February 12, 1932 in Painesville, died on October 24, 2016 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Mentor.
She was a 1949 graduate of Harvey High School and received her Bachelor of Science from Concordia Teachers College, in River Forest, ILL in 1954.
Carol was previously the pipe organist at Zion Lutheran in Painesville, where she was member and Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Cleveland Hts. She preformed organ recitals at various churches and gave piano lessons at Rabbit Run. Carol retired from the Cleveland Clinic where she worked as a medical secretary.
Survivors include her nieces, Amy, Dru, and Rita; nephews, Christopher, David, and Mark; great nieces, great nephews, and cousins as well as her dear friend, Jan Swetel.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Gladys (Sundberg) Nagle; brothers, Robert and William Nagle.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 26 at Zion Lutheran Church, 508 Mentor Ave., Painesville, Ohio 44077.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
